About
Hey everyone! This session will be a bit different from the other sessions in the Chemistry section of schoolhouse, as you will not find this in the curricula of courses such as AP and IB Chem (to my knowledge). Specifically, this will cover the basics of ion-ligand interactions, differences in bonding theories in coordination compounds, isomerism, and their physical properties. Knowledge in bonding and electrons in atoms from AP Chem Unit 1 is needed, and a pencil and paper are preferred for solving problems.

I plan to cover ion-ligand interactions, bonding theories such as valence bond and crystal field theory, and how those affect the physical properties, such as the color of coordination compounds.
