Glow Up 101 is a fun, relaxed tutoring session where we can learn real-life personal care skills — from skincare and hygiene to confidence and style. It’s about feeling fresh, confident, and ready for anything — not about makeup or looks, but about taking care of yourself. Session 1 – Skin Care & Hygiene Basics. Hi! I’m Maeva, a high school student currently homeschooled and taking AP Environmental Science and AP Calculus. I’m always pushing myself academically and plan to apply to FAU High next year. I’m also preparing for the SAT in October, which I’m super focused on. When I’m not studying, you can usually find me at the barn caring for my horses, chickens, and cows — animals are a huge part of my life and have taught me a lot about responsibility and patience. I’m also really passionate about personal care, hygiene, and self-confidence. I love learning and sharing tips about skincare, clean habits, and self-care routines that help people feel their best inside and out. Taking care of yourself — whether it’s through a good hygiene routine or spending time outdoors — is something I truly believe makes a difference in how you feel and how you show up in life.

In this session, we’ll talk all about the everyday habits that keep you feeling clean, confident, and healthy. You’ll learn how to build a simple hygiene and skincare routine that actually works for you — no expensive products or long steps needed! We’ll cover things like how often to wash your face, what products are worth using, and how to deal with acne or oily/dry skin.

We’ll also talk about morning and night routines, hair washing, and personal hygiene tips that make a big difference. By the end, you’ll create your own easy-to-follow daily routine that fits your lifestyle.

In this session, we’ll go beyond looks and talk about how personal care connects to confidence and mental health. You’ll learn simple ways to take care of your mind and body — from getting good sleep and staying hydrated to managing stress and building self-love.

We’ll also have honest conversations about body image, comparison, and how social media can affect how we see ourselves. Everyone deserves to feel confident in their own skin, and this session will help you find what makes you feel your best.

By the end, you’ll create your own self-care plan and write a positive note to your future self as a reminder of your worth.
