Want to learn biochemistry and cellular energetics beyond the textbook or just want to recap what you've learned? This is the right series for you! We will cover cellular respiration and photosynthesis from their roots, and we'll also go into enzyme kinetics beginning with the Michaelis-Menten equation.

In this session, I want to introduce enzymes' role as catalysts in the cell. We will discuss induced fit model and enzyme specificity. We will also get into some Michaelis-Menten kinetics (don't worry if you don't know) and some inhibition.

In this session, I plan to go over the processes of photosynthesis, including the light-dependent reactions and the Calvin cycle. This includes how plants convert light energy into high-energy molecules and then metabolize carbon dioxide to make sugars.
