About
Why attend my class?
I'm a tutor with nearly 24 hours of experience who's taken several tutor certification courses both on schoolhouse and Coursera. For example, I've taken "Making Math Click" by Dr. Barbara Oakley and Dr. John Mighton, both celebrated globally for their work in education sciences and volunteer work which advises using neuroscience and artificial intelligence to enhance your learning experience
Safety Measures
Since students from anywhere can attend, there’s a small risk of inappropriate behaviour. If this occurs, I will immediately report it to Schoolhouse’s safety team.
Before you join:
I’m a volunteer and new to tutoring—not a 'that kid' myself, just someone who’s worked hard to learn this material. I’ll probably make mistakes sometimes, but that just means we’ll learn together. My goal is to help you understand concepts more clearly, build confidence, and feel supported as we go through MHF4U.
COURSE DESCRIPTION FROM ONTARIO VIRTUAL SCHOOL:
Grade 12 Advanced Functions (MHF4U) extends students experience with functions. Students will investigate the properties of polynomial, rational, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions; develop techniques for combining functions; broaden their understanding of rates of change; and develop facility in applying these concepts and skills. MHF4U is intended both for students taking the Calculus and Vectors course as a prerequisite for a university program and for those wishing to consolidate their understanding of mathematics before proceeding to any one of a variety of university programs.

Hi! 👋 I'm Nauta; a hardworking student who like weightlifting and connecting with others. I want to help you because I understand that your final year in high school has a sharp learning curve, and I want to help you ease the pressure of that foreboding university application. Thank you for showing interest in attending my enrichment programs.
