Hello, fellow Schoolhouse.world classmates! My name is Ryan and I am a HS senior from Pennsylvania, USA. While I live in the USA, I speak Mandarin at home. I've been tutoring for 3 years and been an active member of the Schoolhouse.world SAT community for around half a year now. I've hosted 3 Bootcamps, 2 Onboarding Sessions, and am preparing to host different styles of sessions in the SAT Prep subworld. I cannot be more grateful for what I have gotten from this community - I have been able to hone my speaking skills in front of enthusiastic peers and have been able to get in touch with community members from across the world, and cannot be happier to be where I am now because of it. I will continue pushing to become better - I will begin to host music theory classes in the Enrichment subworld and am pushing to get to Gold standing in this community by the end of this school year. As for me personally, I am an avid musician and love to play jazz and classical/romantic era music on the piano. I also love to play games on my phone in my free time, including MOBAs such as MLBB and HOK and strategy games like PvZ and Chess. I am the current Vice President of my Choir and a participant in many other groups, such as Marching Band, Jazz Band, Theatre Orchestra, NAQT Quiz Bowl, Chess Club, and Model United Nations. I am admittedly not the best student in existence, but I have been able to self-study to a starting SAT score of 1510. I also like to explore and improve in any way I can by doing things I find uncomfortable - like tutoring, for instance. Once again, I'm glad to be here, and I hope we can have a great session!
