About

My name is Cabot and I am excited to tutor SAT math.  I like to break things down into simple steps and enjoy having us learn as a group.  Looking forward to seeing you.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Hey there! I’m here to be an SAT tutor with a love of learning, and a playlist that ranges from Bob Marley to Bon Iver to Playboi Carti. When I’m not studying, you can usually find me playing bells or dissecting lyrics like they’re literary analysis (because sometimes they are). I take the SAT seriously—but not too seriously. My approach is strategic, low-stress, and totally personalized. I want studying to make you feel smarter, not smaller—and maybe even a little inspired. Think of me as your academic hype person, here to help you hit your highest score (and maybe find the perfect study playlist along the way).

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.
