About

In this session I will comprehensively cover the topic of Spectrophotometry for an AP Chemistry class. This topic is quite prevalent on the exam and often shows up in FRQs and MC questions. I will use a combination of lessons with real exam questions to discuss and reinforce how a spectrophotometer works, the Beer-Lambert Law, common lab procedures like creating a calibration curve, creating standard solutions, identifying wavelength of maximum absorbance, etc, common errors and their effects on data collected and how to use a calibration curve to calculate concentrations.

Hi everyone, I'm currently a junior enrolled in high school in Maryland. I've taken both AP Calculus BC and AP Chemistry and I plan to tutor in both. I hope to bring my expertise and love for both subjects to each session so that you can learn and hopefully enjoy! In my free time I like to read books and play video games.
