About

This session is perfect for those going into any basic chemistry course or AP Chemistry as we will go over basic chemistry nomenclature for transition metals, acids and bases, and molecular and ionic compounds. These classes will ask you to not only be able to write out the nomeclature for these compounds but to also recognize the formulas from their names making this lesson vital for any beginner chemist. We will also cover a list of common polyatomic ions which most teachers will have you learn and memorize. I will also include several exercises in the session and I will create a quizlet with these rules and polyatomics for future reference.

Hi everyone, I'm currently a junior enrolled in high school in Maryland. I've taken both AP Calculus BC and AP Chemistry and I plan to tutor in both. I hope to bring my expertise and love for both subjects to each session so that you can learn and hopefully enjoy! In my free time I like to read books and play video games.
