About

Are you someone who loves physics but is struggling with understanding the strange and complex world of electricity? Don't worry, I've been there. This course will help you not only do problems in E&M, but truly understand the concepts so you can apply them wherever you please. This is a difficult course, and you will struggle, but by the end of the month, you'll be able to ace any electromagnetism test anyone can throw your way. Fun and clever homework problems are included. The topics list includes, but is not limited to:

- A simple introduction to the math of electromagnetism

- Electrostatics: Coulomb's law, Gauss's law, potentials, polarization, dielectrics, capacitors, multipole/dipoles

- Circuit components and methods of analysis

- Magnetostatics: Biot-Savart law, currents, Amphere's law, multipole, potentials, magnetization

- Electromagnetism: EMF, Fixing Amphere's law, induction, Maxwell's equations, conservation laws

-Electromagnetic Waves: Wave equation, EM waves in vacuum and matter, Absorption/Dispersion, Guided Waves
