About

Hi! My name is Reece, and I'm going to be a senior in high school. I love sports, reading, Model United Nations (MUN), hiking, and spending time with my dogs and family. I'm excited to be a tutor on Schoolhouse, where I'll be helping with SAT Reading and Writing. I'm here to support you in building confidence and achieving your goals! Let's tackle the SAT together!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

I love exercising, reading, Model United Nations (MUN), hiking/camping, and spending time with my dogs and family. As a tutor, I specialize in all history classes (AP), and SAT Reading and Writing. To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You'll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will review questions you'd like to go over and end with group practice of a Focus Skill in the Standard English Conventions Domain.
