In this session, you’ll learn how to assess and respond to medical emergencies using the ABC method: Airway, Breathing, Circulation. These three steps are used by first responders to quickly figure out what’s life-threatening and what to do next.

We’ll walk through realistic emergency scenarios, play a fast-paced triage game, and practice how to think clearly under pressure. You’ll leave with a better understanding of how to help someone who’s unconscious, choking, or bleeding—and how to stay calm when it matters most.

In this hands-on session, we’ll go over how to recognize and respond to everyday injuries like cuts, burns, sprains, nosebleeds, and more. You’ll learn what to do (and what not to do) in each situation using real-world examples and easy-to-remember steps.
We’ll walk through scenarios, bust some common myths (like "Put butter on a burn"), and even build our own "mini first-aid plan" together. Perfect for anyone who wants to feel prepared to help at school, on the field, or at home.

Activities to Expect:
Injury Scenario Game: “What happened and what do you do?”

Myth or Fact Quiz: Burn treatment, nosebleeds, broken bones

RICE Method Demo: (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation)

Build a First-Aid Plan: Students choose 3 injuries and explain what to do
