About

🎯 Join me for an engaging and interactive SAT Math prep series led by a 790 scorer! Through weekly slides, Zoom polls, games and live problem-solving, we'll break down key math concepts, tackle tricky questions, and build the confidence you need to excel. Each session blends strategy, practice, and play—making test prep feel less like a chore and more like a challenge you’ll enjoy!

💡 As someone who used Schoolhouse to tremendously increase my own SAT score, I know exactly what tips work and how to make them stick. I'll tailor every lesson to meet my learners’ needs and offer targeted strategies that truly make a difference—because they’ve worked for me too!

⏰ No strict attendance policy — come when you can! But for the full experience and best results, I recommend attending all sessions. I do put a lot of work into the curriculum, so I would appreciate my work having the greatest impact possible. 🚀

SAT Math Series Resources
This doc includes the slides, practice sets, games, and study resources for every session. Check back often—it's updated regularly!

Note: This series is tailored to finish just before the August 23rd SAT. It may continue longer based on learner interest.

As per the name "High Score Hacks," this series is tailored more toward learners scoring in the 600-700 range. We will be focusing more on the hard difficulty problems found in the second SAT Math section, but anyone is welcome to join.

Hi there! I'm Joshua 👋 I'm a rising 10th grader and a proud member of the Schoolhouse community. I discovered Schoolhouse while prepping for the June SAT, and it quickly became one of my favorite resources. After earning a strong score, I felt inspired to give back by tutoring others. Whether you're looking for private help or group sessions, let me know and I'll be here to support you on your journey to a 1500+! I'm currently homeschooled and love learning science, though I'm curious about almost everything. I also enjoy programming and have experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, and HTML. I started with Scratch and still dabble in it occasionally, but I mostly stick to text-based coding now. Outside of academics, I like to run and play table tennis (just for fun, not competitively). If you're passionate about learning and ready to level up, let's connect!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

⏰Consistent attendance is strongly encouraged for this series. If you need to miss a day, no worries—I was a learner once and I know how things come up. Just please let me know and attend whenever possible.

While many learners register for this series, a few tend to show up consistently. Preparing each session takes considerable time and effort, and low turnout can limit the collaborative learning environment I strive to offer. I won't withdraw learners for low attendance, but please be considerate and understand that significant effort is being made whether you decide to attend or not.
