Do nerves get in the way of doing your best when its time to perform, present, or take a test? In this series, we will learn what performance anxiety is, why it happens, and how to manage it using simple techniques. Through various discussions and reflections, we will build confidence, practice calming strategies, and create a plan to face pressure with a clear mind.

In our first session, we will explore what performance anxiety is and why it happens. We will learn how the brain and body respond to stress, how to identify common physical and emotional signs of anxiety, and how to recognize personal triggers. At the end of the session, we will also do a reflection activity to build awareness of their own stress responses in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

In this second session, we will learn how to stay calm when you feel nervous. We will try cool tricks like deep breathing, focusing your senses, and talking to yourself in a positive way. We will also talk about how your thoughts can either help or make you feel more worried and how to choose thoughts that build your confidence.
