About

People often speak of calculus as some difficult obstacle to overcome, but it becomes really easy when you learn it from the geometric perspective. Throughout this series, we'll go through all of Calc BC, but we'll also go more in-depth into certain topics when we can find geometric insight and intuition.

Future sessions will be planned alongside learners:
Upcoming Session(s):
July 13 @ 4 pm PDT - Basic Derivative Rules with Geometric Intuition (bring ANY problems you have, and we'll go over them if we have time)

I'm a senior in high school and am from California. I like working out, playing saxophone, playing basketball, and, of course, doing math. In case you're curious about my qualifications, I scored a 5 on BC in my sophomore year, finished multivariable in my junior year, and am currently studying linear algebra.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

I won't track you down and ask you to join any particular session. This series is for YOU to learn calculus. However, if you miss a lot of sessions (and if the series registration is full), I will message you before removing you so as to make more space for other learners.

Differentiation: definition and basic derivative rules

Differentiation: definition and basic derivative rules

Sun 11:00 PM - Mon, 12:00 AM UTCJul 13, 11:00 PM - Jul 14, 12:00 AM UTC

Answering questions from the previous session, maybe brush up on epsilon-delta, then we'll go over some of the derivative rules and give geometric "proofs" (intuitions) for most of them (for power rule, it's pretty hard to visualize more than n=3).
