Hi! I’m Sai, and I’m really excited to help you prepare for the SAT Reading section. I’ve taken the SAT myself, and I know how confusing and stressful it can feel—especially when you’re hearing the same tips over and over again that don’t actually help.
﻿
That’s why in this four-week tutoring series, I’ll go beyond the basics. I’ll share the strategies and problem-solving methods that no one really tells you—the ones that actually make a difference on test day. We’ll work through real questions from past SATs, take mini practice tests, and figure out how to approach problems in a smarter, more confident way.

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.

You'll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will review questions you'd like to go over and end with group practice of a Focus Skill in the Standard English Conventions Domain.
