About

Get ready to tackle the APUSH curriculum with confidence through this comprehensive tutoring series designed to guide you from Period 1 (1491) to Period 9 (present). Our sessions will break down each period into manageable, focused lessons that cover key concepts, events, and skills essential for success on the APUSH exam. Here's what to expect throughout the series:

APUSH Exam Breakdown: We'll start with an in-depth overview of the AP exam structure, including multiple-choice questions (MCQs), short-answer questions (SAQs), document-based questions (DBQs), and long-essay questions (LEQs). You'll learn strategies to manage your time and maximize your score.

Thematic Focus: Each session will highlight important APUSH themes such as identity, politics and power, work and economy, America’s role in the world, and culture and society, helping you connect historical developments across periods.

Period-by-Period Breakdown: We’ll systematically cover all nine APUSH periods, focusing on major events, turning points, key figures, and important documents. This includes:

Early encounters and colonization (1491-1754)
The American Revolution and the founding of a new nation (1754-1800)
Expansion, reform, and sectional conflict (1800-1865)
Reconstruction and industrialization (1865-1898)
America’s rise as a global power (1898-present)
Skills Development: Throughout the series, you’ll develop critical skills such as analyzing primary and secondary sources, writing strong thesis statements, crafting evidence-based arguments, and using historical reasoning processes (causation, comparison, continuity, and change).

Practice and Review: Each session will include practice questions, review exercises, and discussions to reinforce your understanding. Practice includes MCQs, DBQs, SAQs, and LEQs. We’ll end with a full diagnostic exam and targeted feedback to ensure you’re exam-ready.

Join us to build your knowledge, sharpen your skills, and feel confident walking into the APUSH exam!
