About the Tutor

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a freshman student from Virginia. I specialize in essay writing here on Schoolhouse, as well as the development of creative narratives. I'm also introducing new topics in enrichment! My favorite books include mysteries, such as those by Agatha Christie, and dystopia novels like Scythe, Shatter Me, and Divergent. I have a wide taste, so DM me if you need/have book suggestions or need writing help! Beyond reading, I'm a creative writer and I've won a Scholastic Writing Regional Silver Key award in my first year submitting. I also enjoy expressing myself through content creation and blogging. I love participating in school clubs, and I'm a member of Black Student Union, Debate, and Key Club.
