About

This six-week series is perfect for our narrative writers of all levels, whether aspiring or professional.

Through the power of the Narrative Arc, we'll learn how we can shape stories to give the reader choice. And for what could be the first time ever, we'll have the option to use the second perspective in our writing.

Make sure to come prepared with access to Google services such as Google Docs and Google Slides, as well as access to Schoolhouse Assessments (built in). That's all you need!

This series serves as a prequel to a series during NaNoWriMo, so make sure to register if you're interested in participating in that as well, and register here (link provided in the future).

Please request make-up sessions through this form at least 24-hours in advance. Sessions will be hosted with 1 or more learners, so request as needed.

Note: This series will be fast paced. I will only be hosting on Mondays and/or Saturdays. In order to finish within the six week margin, if I am unable to host both days, or you are forced to miss both weekly sessions, slides and a review activity will be made available in the assessments folder for your convenience! 🙂

I'M BACK!!! Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a freshman student from Virginia. I specialize in essay writing here on Schoolhouse, as well as the development of creative narratives. Beyond reading and writing, I'm a creative writer and I've won a Scholastic Writing Regional Silver Key award in my first year submitting. I'm also an editor for our school's award winning student literary magazine, and a staff writer for the newspaper. Additionally, I enjoy expressing myself through content creation and blogging. A few other clubs I participate in currently include, Black Student Union, Debate, Mock Trial, and others! I can't wait to get to know you.
