About

Hi, my name is Jaryl! I am a high school senior looking forward to tutoring the SAT Math Section. I took the SAT on August 24th this year and received a 790 math score. Though I just started tutoring at Schoolhouse, I have had multiple teaching experiences such as being a Taekwondo Instructor and a tutor for family friends. I hope that you can join my sessions,  and I can provide you with the same tips I used when I prepped for the SAT!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hello everyone, I'm currently a senior in high school. I am joining Schoolhouse to hopefully improve my English and Writing SAT, and hopefully, I can share my knowledge and help people with the Math section for the SAT. I love backpacking, building computers, and fishing!

What you'll do

Review core concepts and test-taking strategies, with a peer tutor who excelled on the SAT.

Practice and review official full-length SAT® practice tests, including one Bluebook test.

Get personalized support with the most challenging questions and concepts.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

Note from Schoolhouse: This series has sessions with required attendance. If you need to miss a required session, submit an absence using the "Submit Excused Absence" button on the series page. Multiple unexcused absences may lead to a suspension of your Schoolhouse account.

We'll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we will work through a shortened practice exam and review questions you'd like to go over. To wrap up the session, we'll go over some testing tips.

We will go over some testing strategies for taking the digital SAT and you will have the opportunity to take a full practice test on the Bluebook platform.
