Session 1

College Webinar

In the first session, I will open up our conversation regarding college application around three major topics:
- Why is college life different from what I expected?
- What are things that I wish I had done before coming to college?
- What are the most important mindsets to success in college?

After the session, there will be a brief Q&A period in which students can ask Sandra, the main instructor. Once again, welcome😍!

Session 2

Careers & Majors

For many students first coming to college, they have no idea how competitive it could be for college students to find a desirable internship / part-time job. Some high school students might have had the privilege to get a paid internship position, but it will only get harder when they become college students. In the second session, our conversation will include three main questions:

- Why having an internship experience is important? What are some other options apart from applying for internships?
- How to plan for my career before attending college? What are some resources to look for?
- What are some useful strategies to improve my profile during job-seeking?

Session 3

College Applications

In the third session, I would like to talk more about how to ace in college applications. For me as an international student, it was really difficult to look into different schools and their vibes when applying -- so, what could be the key to crack the code?

I will focus specifically on:
- How to present my application holistically, with my activities and essays?
- How to write a good "why-school" essay?
- What are some important tips in writing a college essay? Should I mimic the style of some essays that made the student accepted?
