About

Hello! This is an introduction to the topics covered in Algebra 2. I'll start from the beginning, from polynomial arithmetic to modelling if we're lucky. My target for now is to cover polynomial content since it's the most fun in all of this, therefore it comes first. Here's an idea of what the plan is:

Introduction and polynomial arithmetic
Complex numbers
Polynomial factorization and division
Polynomial graphs
Then from there we see what happens.

I'll be hosting two sessions a week since that's what I think I can manage right now. I might change that if the opportunity presents itself. There will be test questions (future me promises not to simply refresh exercise tabs on Khan Academy) and unit tests (these I'll gladly do from Khan Academy).

See you then!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

I'm not really super strict on attendance. On the one hand, you can show up whenever you feel like you will benefit from the session, but on the other, missing three sessions in a row without notice will prompt me to give out your slot to someone else when I get the chance.

For those who choose to join in the middle, I'll mark some sessions in some way that indicates you can join the team, mostly because entering in the middle of a unit might leave you confused.

An intro to the content I'll be covering and the expectations we can set out with this series. If only @pol j shows up (she prompted me to do this), we just get right into it with polynomial arithmetic.
