How to become an SAT® Bootcamp tutor
1
Get certified through a qualifying SAT score
You can qualify to tutor an SAT Bootcamp through demonstrated past SAT test scores of 750+ in Math and/or 700+ in Reading & Writing. Getting certified to tutor the SAT on Schoolhouse is simple-just submit documentation of a qualifying SAT score in the subject(s) you want to tutor.
2
Get parental consent
Parental consent is required to participate in SAT Bootcamps. If you're a prospective SAT tutor, get started by requesting your parent's consent.
3
Complete tutor assent form
Once your parent fills out their consent form, you'll receive an email with a personalized link to make an account (if you don't have one already) and provide assent (your own consent) to participate in this program.
4
Host a bootcamp
Complete a few additional steps designed to set you up for success as a tutor! You'll then get access to hosting an SAT Bootcamp in the subject(s) of your choice, on a schedule that works for you.

Hear it from past tutors

Tutoring for the SAT allowed me to share my knowledge and experience with students, helping them succeed in learning about the basics on how to do the SAT Math section. These tutoring sessions are completely free for everyone, allowing anyone around the world to receive help and are a great opportunity for students to grow!
Anshi M, SAT Bootcamp tutor from Illinois

I am so happy to help other students prepare for the SAT, a process that can be very stressful, and have really enjoyed being a peer tutor. I learned that through explaining math concepts, I was able to understand them more deeply myself, which is just one of the many benefits of peer tutoring. I have also developed connections with the Schoolhouse community and strengthened my communication and leadership skills. I am excited to serve as a tutor for the November SAT bootcamp this fall!
