Hey Owen! Thanks a bunch for all of the help! Even with a few technical difficulties, your session was as informative and helpful as ever. I always enjoy the flow of your sessions and the pacing you use while teaching. You get through a lot of material, but the session never feels rushed. It is obvious you take time to plan the material you're going to go over, and I would say it defiantly helps. I applaud you for successfully creating a "classroom" where anyone can ask any question without the fear of looking silly. I'll see you in your next session!

Thank you for the session! I definitely needed a refresher on triangulation/ the slope-intercept formula. I appreciate you taking the time to lend your brain to a few strangers for 75 minutes. The no-calculator section is 100% my problem area, I never find the time to finish all the questions! Anyways, thank you again.

When the learner makes mistakes or has a hard time learning a concept, the tutor effectively congratulates them on where they went right and then moves onwards to where the learner went wrong. Patient with the learner and the content, and presence of an encouraging tone and words.

You're a really good tutor! The learner didn't come in with a lot (no practice problems), but you were able to target what he wanted to cover, reduce the subject down to its smallest parts, and review it all really well. You took small building blocks and put them together nicely--e.g., the discussion on "reversing" PEMDAS (taking something that is known, PEMDAS, and using it to introduce the idea of inverse operations). Again, amazing job!

Hi! I just want to say thank you so much for everything you do. You are defiantly the very best tutor I've had so far on schoolhouse. It surprised me every session how quickly the time flew by. I love how you make math topics I *despise* fun and approachable. I don't know if I've ever had that much fun discussing trigonometric ratios. My math SAT score has improved (and will definitely continue to improve) thanks to your boot camp. Keep doing what you're doing! Best of luck!

Hey! Thank you for all of your help! I appreciate that no matter how random a question may be, you will treat it with the same respect as any other. No one has to hesitate to ask anything that comes to mind. I like that you take a moment to make sure we're all still with you when you explain a problem with quite a few steps; if need be, you'll go back and reiterate what's going on. It's true patience is a virtue and thank goodness you seem to have lots of it. You don't rush through the material and make sure nobody gets left behind. Even if you have to keep rewording your explanations, you won't give up until it clicks. Thank you again for all of your patience in helping us out! I'll see you Friday!

Hi Owen! Once again, an amazing session! I really enjoy your thorough explanations and examples. I love how you incorporate practiced problems into the session so that we have an opportunity to practice what we learn. After the first polynomial long division problem, doing one on my own really made everything click. Even on subjects or problems that I have never seen before, you provide a great explanation that is easy to follow along with. Even though you are teaching many students, I appreciate that you take great care to incorporate everyone. I look forward to your next session!
