Yes, there is evidence that the learner made progress as they confirmed on the last part of the question towards the end of the session. The tutor asked them what quadrant the solution would be in and if it "intuitively made sense".

The way that you explained the variety of questions on the learner's practice exam demonstrated your knowledge! Most of the questions were complex and consisted of multiple steps, but you took your time to get to the answer. In doing so, you sketched graphs and annotated the screen to explain concepts in multiple ways!

The learner lets you know when she has understood the material, this means you created a comfortable environment for the learner and allowed them to speak and answer questions without hesitation, regardless of it being right or wrong.

You are very knowledgeable on the topic of matrices. You had good annotations on the board. I especially liked how you gave your learner the ability to annotate, so that the could solve some of the problems themself. Active learning is a very important part of the learning process.

I noticed that you started off the session by making sure the learner could hear you - this is super important! Then you asked them whether they wanted you to share your screen or were planning on doing something else before getting into the question. I also liked that you annotated on the shared screen to explain. Overall, good job only explaining content when necessary - as long as you can understand when this is, your approach seems to work nicely.
