Math Bootcamp (Sat + Sun)

Hey, I'm Pranav, a kid looking to help other kids prepare for the SAT! I'm hoping this can be a fun, interactive, and most importantly helpful way to refresh old concepts and get some practice.

This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam.

You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

We'll cover the whole Khan Academy curriculum on Triangles EXCEPT Euler lines. We'll go over classification, relevant angles, and then talk about bisectors, altitudes, and medians.

We'll go over all the factoring basics, starting with GCF, then into factoring with patterns. We'll then factor trinomials and look at substitution. Please bring scrap paper, or more preferrably have onenote or microsoft word ready.

We will go over all the methods of factoring, mainly with second degree trinomials. Included are GCF, difference of squares, sum of cubes, and we'll also go over basic substitution.
