Hi everyone! My name is Steven, and I'm here to prepare all of you for the Reading and Writing sections of the SAT! Compared to the Math section, the Reading and Writing sections can feel very... subjective. If you're more mathematically inclined, or proper sentence structure feels frustratingly arbitrary, or analyzing huge blocks of text seems an impossible task, *I get it*. I was like that, too, at first! By the end of our time together, I hope to impress some useful tips and rules for reading and writing upon you, and maybe even help some of you to realize that it actually wasn't as bad as you thought!
This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam.
You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!
Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.
