Spanish Summer Camp

This class is an introduction to Spanish and beyond. The course will cover grammatical concepts, vocabulary, conversational participation (non-mandatory), and Latino/Hispanic culture. The course will adapt depending on the skill levels of the class. By the end, you will find yourself immersed in the Spanish Language and Latino culture! This class is mainly for fun and Spanish enrichment.

AI & Machine Learning Camp

What? AI is the field of utilizing computers for tasks that require human-like intelligence. Machine learning encompasses algorithms that combine input and output to "teach themselves" how to perform these tasks, without being explicitly programmed to. 
How? We will begin to learn about AI and its applications, culminating in a walkthrough project with real world applications (visual recognition/deep learning AI). Throughout this course, there will be teacher-led instruction and helpful resources to get you started. 
Who? This is great for anyone looking to explore AI or start their journey in becoming a machine learning engineer! If you want to be an observer, you are welcome, but you are also welcome to participate in some of the non-mandatory exercises. 
Prerequisite? None, but I recommend understanding Python for some of the coding examples in the class.
Pre-installed Software? None. We will use Google Colaboratory so only a Google Account is needed.

Data Science Camp

What? Data science is the field of gathering insights from unstructured data by using scientific algorithms. 
How? We will begin to learn about data science, culminating in a walkthrough project with real world applications (binary classification AI). Throughout this course, there will be teacher-led instruction and helpful resources to get you started. 
Who? This is great for anyone looking to explore data science or start their journey in becoming a data scientist! If you want to be an observer, you are welcome, but you are also welcome to participate in some of the non-mandatory exercises. 
Prerequisite? None, but I recommend understanding Python for some of the coding examples in the class.
Pre-installed Software? None. We will use Google Colaboratory so only a Google Account is needed.

Math Bootcamp (Tuesday + Thursday)

Hello Everyone! I'm Michael, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to be able to teach you all about the Math Portion of the SAT. Personally, I understand the difficulty of this test, and I've had to self-study for it too. However, your dedication will pay off! Trust me, I went up 230 points to achieve a 99th percentile score in 2 months. 

This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam.

You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.
