SAT Math Demystified

Welcome to SAT Math, Demystified! My name is Tracy, and I'm here to help you reach your goals and ultimately crush the SAT! I scored in the 99th percentile on the exam, and after studying its patterns and problem types, I'm ready to share these tips with all of you. I've been a math tutor for four years and recently hosted an SAT Math Bootcamp on Schoolhouse.world. I'm so excited to answer your questions, play games together, and help everyone understand not only what the correct answer to a question is but how exactly we get there. Perhaps you're studying for a test in August, October, or a month in the future. No matter your goal, don't take it on alone! Take an important step in your SAT journey and sign up today—I can't wait to see you soon!

This five-part tutoring series will help you prepare for the SAT Math Test. Starting with a practice test, by the end of the series, you'll have worked through myriad problems from previous SATs from all four types of math on the exam. 

Note: If you can keep your camera on, that would be fantastic since it will help us get to know each other!
Prerequisites: None!
Materials: A pencil, some paper/a notebook, and a calculator for all sessions.

Welcome to my SAT math bootcamp! I'm Tracy, and I'm here to help you reach your goals and ultimately crush the SAT! I'm a high school senior from Massachusetts who scored in the 99th percentile on the exam. I've been a math tutor for four years and like to play the alto saxophone and write poetry outside of school. I am so excited to answer your questions, play games together, and help everyone understand not only what the correct answer to a question is, but how exactly we get there. So take an important step in your SAT journey and sign up—I can't wait to see you soon!

This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam.

You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Calling all poets, storytellers, and curious thinkers! Are you interested in sharing a few poems in a welcoming space? Are you new to poetry and would like some feedback from an encouraging audience? How about listening in and relaxing with some moving metaphors? Join this Open Mic! 

I'm Tracy, and last year I founded my high school's poetry club. I am excited to share my writing with all of you and listen to yours! We will be going round-robin one poem at a time and then circling back if we have reached everyone. No prerequisites are required, and the only materials you need are your own Schoolhouse.world-appropriate poems!
