Hi my name is Ayan. I am excited to work with you in achieving your desired SAT Math score!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple SAT Math practice tests and worked through a number of SAT Math problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam.

You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT Math skills as much as you can!

Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

PREPARING TO TAKE AP CALCULUS AB

No prior calculus experience is required. Feel free to bring paper and a pencil if you want to take notes. Cameras are optional as long as everybody is engaged and actively learning. I won't have my camera on because I do not have a camera on my computer.

About the series: If you want to make your life easier in  AP Calculus AB in the 2022-2023 school year this series is most definitely for you. (you don’t need any calculus background before taking this series). Not only will taking this series to teach you tips and tricks to ace through the beginning of ap calculus but also boost your confidence in taking up calculus. In this series, we will cover the first two units of AP Calculus AB. The units we will cover are called Limits/Continuity and Derivatives.

About me: In the school year 2021-2022 I took up AP Calculus AB. I took the ap exam for AP Calculus in May 2022 and scored a 5 (perfect score on the ap exam). Additionally, throughout the school year, I have tutored/helped multiple classmates in both AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC even though I took up only AP Calculus AB.

About me: Hi, I am a rising senior in high school, and I completed AP Calculus in 2021-2022. I will do my best to help build the confidence you need to go through either AP Calculus AB or BC for the school year of 2022-2023. I have prior tutoring experience as I tutor multiple classmates in my school in Algebra or Calculus. So I am excited to branch out and use SchoolHouse to help others!

The goal of the Series: We will cover the first two topics in both AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC. The topics are Limits/Continuity and Derivative Rules.

The goal of Session: We'll go through Unit: Differentiation: definition and basic derivative rules. By the end of the session, you will have a better understanding of the unit. 

Prerequisites: You need to have completed Pre-Calc and First Unit of AP Calculus AB/BC (Limits & Continuity).

(Cameras are optional). Make your best effort to attend; do not enroll if you can not attend.

Differentiation: definition and basic derivative rules

We will go over the entirety of limits and continuity in this course.

Pre-requisites: You should have taken Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and the majority of Pre-Calc or all of it before enrolling in this course. Please know your basic trigonometry, unit circle, limits and continuity, and factoring. Understanding techniques like those are very integral to this topic.

Please keep in mind this course is for people who want to get a headstart in AP Calculus (AB or BC) or review some stuff from Pre-Calc before starting Calculus.
