Polynomial arithmetic

Welcome to Polynomial Arithmetic! In this section, we’ll focus on performing basic operations with polynomials. Just like with numbers, we can add, subtract, and multiply polynomials. These skills are fundamental for simplifying and solving polynomial equations. Here's what we'll cover:

Addition of Polynomials: You’ll learn how to combine like terms and add polynomials efficiently.
Subtraction of Polynomials: You’ll understand how to subtract one polynomial from another, making sure to distribute the negative sign correctly.
Multiplication of Polynomials: You’ll master the distributive property (also called the FOIL method for binomials) and apply it to multiply polynomials, including binomials, trinomials, and higher-degree polynomials.
