About

This series will be an overview of classical mechanics — the first course everybody takes in physics. A solid understanding in classical mechanics is an absolute must to study anything from engineering to quantum mechanics and theory of relativity. We will mostly be talking about university freshmen level classical mechanics. Although this series will have calculus involved, I will try to teach the course so that a person only with algebra knowledge and no prior experience with physics will be able to follow along. Most sessions will include a lot of discussions. This does not mean we won't solve any physics problems, as they are necessary to reinforce concepts. However, we will not focus on problem solving techniques. Classical mechanics might sound boring compared to something like quantum entanglement or "the theory of everything." But since it mostly describes what we are able to see with our naked eye, I guarantee you'll find it very relevant and satisfying after learning.
