About

This is a course for people without prior experience in physics or those that would like to review/brush up on their knowledge of specific topics. The course will start off with kinematics, then progress to dynamics, circular motion, energy, momentum etc. Note that the material will be equivalent to that of the AP Physics 1 curriculum, and covered at the same level(i.e. difficulty of practice problems), so it can also be used as a review for the AP Physics 1 exam. A major part of physics is problem solving so I would recommend having a pencil and paper having next to you during the sessions and working on general problem solving ability.

View Profile

I am a junior at UC San Diego, majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science and have participated in math contests. I currently have a 3.8 GPA at UC San Diego and have earned A's in Linear Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, and Discrete Math. I have also taken and passed the AP tests for AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Biology, and AP Calculus at my high school. I am passionate about tutoring math and helping students problem solve rather than memorize.
