About

Welcome! We plan meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 pm CDT (during orientation, we will decide what times are best for our schedules). 

This series focuses on the mathematical and conceptual aspects of quantum mechanics at the college level. We will cover the following topics in chronological order: the wave function, the time-independent schrödinger equation, formalism, identical particles, and time-independent perturbation theory. Historical theorems such as Bell's Theorem, the EPR Paradox, and more will also be discussed. The series is student-paced, so throughout our sessions we will agree upon a comfortable amount of work. There is no homework; however, you may ask me for some additional problems or help outside class. Anyone who is considering joining this series should be knowledgable in calculus (no need for multivariable) and basic physics (equivalent to AP Physics 1).
