About
Hi guys! I'm Kaia and I'm a high schooler from Ohio! I really enjoy history, and I've received a 5 on the APUSH exam, AP World exam, and AP Gov exam, and I'm currently self-studying AP Euro! This series is going to be geared towards reviewing all periods of APUSH before the big test. A typical session should look like this :
- introduction to the day
- quick MCQ assessment with questions from the specific period(s) we'll be reviewing in that session (and then I will answer any questions on those)
- A slide deck review of the important content for those periods
- we will work on some aspect of the free response questions of the test (SAQs, DBQs, LEQs, rubrics, etc)
I will add additional review sessions if necessary for people who need extra help on the DBQ or LEQ, or anything else!
*I would recommend signing up for this class specifically if you're an APUSH student, or if you're trying to supplement content for another history course!*
- I will be adding sessions as time goes on and I get more planning done, so be on the lookout for those, I will be trying to keep times consistent :)
Finally, feel free to message me any time during the series to ask for extra help, or request a certain topic. I look forward to meeting you all!
✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY
I would recommend coming to all of them to receive a full content review, but if you have to skip session, just message me so I can share the review with you if needed!

About the Tutor
Hey! I'm a high schooler from Ohio and in my free time (that I honestly don't have) I love running track and XC, reading (historical fiction and literature), and history! I'm in other extracurriculars too, like Academic Team, Environmental Club, and French Club (and Honor Society)! My original goal on Schoolhouse was to review for my SAT, but now I'm here to help you guys with AP history review, so feel free to come to me with any questions or concerns, I'd be pleased to help. Happy studying!
Upcoming Sessions
Session 2
AP Review — General
This session will cover period 3. Since period 3 is very causational, we should be able to get through it quickly! We'll start with an MCQ set and I will answer questions then go over some key takeaways from the period. At the end, we'll look at the DBQ rubric and do a document analysis together to help with DBQ writing!
Session 3
AP Review — General
We will start with an MCQ set for Period 4 and discuss Period 4 content. Then we will go over the LEQ rubric and look at a period 4 LEQ prompt. We will not write an entire LEQ in this session, but we will brainstorm potential thesis statements and pieces of evidence we could use to support it!
Session 4
AP Review — General
In this lesson we will start with strategies for getting better at the MCQ portion of the test! Then we will do a daily MCQ practice, I will answer questions, and then we'll discuss Period 5 content. I will have an optional SAQ practice near the end of the session for anyone who wants to practice!
Session 5
AP Review — General
We will go over Period 6 in this session. We'll start with our daily MCQ set and I'll go over any questions you have, and then we'll review the slide deck. For free response practice, we'll look at a period 6 DBQ document set and try to group the documents. (set up for writing the DBQ)
Session 6
AP Review — General
This is going to be part 1 of going over unit 7. I've received a lot of requests to go over unit 7, and due to the mass amount of content, I'm doing to break it into 2 parts. This section will be over American imperialism, the progressive era, the 20s, and the start of the Great Depression. We'll start with the daily MCQs, go over a slide deck, and look at a DBQ prompt for unit 7.
Session 7
AP Review — General
This will be the 2nd part of unit 7, we'll go over the New Deal and both World Wars. We'll start with the MCQs, go over slides, and look at either an SAQ or LEQ.
