About
Hi! During these sessions, we will be going over triangle-based trigonometry- no unit circle, no radians, just practical application using sine, cosine, and tangent (and some formulas!). At the beginning of the session, we will do a quick review of the basic concepts and then dive into problems (with an emphasis on world problems).
This course is ideal for students who are already familiar with trigonometry and want to improve their problem solving skills (but anyone is welcome! I am more than willing to host another session for questions). Hope to see you there!

SESSION 1
Right triangles & trigonometry
Right triangles & trigonometry
Fri 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM UTCJun 27, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM UTC
During this one-time session, we will be covering: law of sines, cosines, area of a triangle using trig, world problems (mainly using angle of elevation and depression), altitude/hypotenuse/leg theorems, and solving triangles.

SESSION 2
Right triangles & trigonometry
Right triangles & trigonometry
Sat 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM UTCJun 28, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM UTC
Hi! This is a continuation of yesterdays introduction to trigonometry. We previously covered sin, cos, and tan ratios in a right triangle, and then some fundamental formulas like the law of sines and cosines and the area of a triangle using sin. During this session, we will be doing lots of word problems and practice!

SESSION 3
Right triangles & trigonometry
Right triangles & trigonometry
Mon 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM UTCJun 30, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM UTC
Hi! In previous sessions, we covered sin, cos, and tan ratios in a right triangle, and then some fundamental formulas like the law of sines and cosines and the area of a triangle using sin. We previously didn't get to do word problems and harder practice questions in the last session, so this session will be dedicated to practice!

SESSION 4
Right triangles & trigonometry
Right triangles & trigonometry
Tue 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM UTCJul 1, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM UTC
Hi! We will continue to solve word problems with trigonometry, picking up where we left off in the previous class.
