In this session, we'll keep things a bit light, get to know each other, set expectations for the remaining sessions of the series, and try to understand a bit about one of the most groundbreaking ideas in the 20th century, the concept of relativity and the illusion of time. Don't worry too much about the pre-requisites. As long as you understand basic multiplication/division and come with an open mind, you should be good. I am there to help you out.

In this session, we'll learn about the basics of Game Theory, which talks about the idea of how to maximize your potential reward in a setting when others are involved and their actions impact your decisions.

In this session, we'll continue with Game Theory, and see it in action when multiple parties are involved, and how to make progress when we need arriving at a consensus even when the individual parties are not completely trusting of each other.

Till this point, we learnt about taking decisions in situations when others are involved, but under the assumptions that we know the payoffs of our actions. In this session, we'll start learning about the exploration/exploitation tradeoff, which aims at maximizing your long-term rewards in a world full of possibilities.

In this session, we'll continue our discussion on the Exploration vs Exploitation tradeoff  (The videos I've posted in the group chat should help you with those), and how to quantify your payoffs to maximise your returns. We'll also discuss how these strategies are used on you, the user, when you browse the internet.

In this session we'll wrap up Optimal Stopping (knowing when to choose) and play a game to review the concepts we've looked at so far => Game Theory, Communication, Exploration/Exploitation tradeoff, and Optimal Stopping.
