About

Hi, my name is Allen, and I'm extremely excited to help you all achieve your highest potential in the SAT math section! I have already earned an 800 on the SAT math, and I'm quite a quick teacher in general. I will try to attend to all students' needs!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hi! I'm Allen and I'm a high school sophmore student from NYC. I am a 2x American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) Qualifier and earned an 800 (1480 - highest score) on the math section for the SAT already. Please ask me anything about math (up to Calculus BC) and Physics (up to AP Physics 1), but feel free to ask me anything about English, even better if it is grammar! In my free time, I like to fence, debate, and also play volleyball. Fun fact: I have 500k points on Khan Academy! (I don't remember how...)

To get the most out of this series and respect other learners, follow these attendance rules:

You can only miss one unexcused session over the four weeks. Missing more can impact your learning and may take a spot from another learner who wants to join.

Need to miss a session? Let your tutor know by using the "Submit excused absence" button on the series page. Then, catch up by using the Session Makeup Guide or attending a live make-up session.

Multiple unexcused absences? If you reach two unexcused absences, you may be removed from the series and your Schoolhouse account may be suspended.
