About

The series will cover an introduction for those intending to take Calculus BC in the coming school year, mainly focusing on limits and its connection to derivatives.

Session 1: Limits and continuity

Session 2: Differentiation and the basic definition of a derivative

Session 3: Differentiation extended--chain rule and implicit differentiation

Session 4: Extending session 3 to differentiating inverse functions and inverse trig functions using chain rule and implicit differentiation

Session 4: Applications of derivatives--Rates of change, related rates, linearization, and L'Hopital's rule

Session 5: Analysis of functions through derivatives--extrema and concavity, calculating higher order derivatives

In between sessions will be office hours where learners can come for extra questions.

Hello! I am a high school student from Illinois, and I'm comfortable with math topics up to AP Calculus BC and the SAT Math portion. I enjoy constructing Metal Earth models, reading up on philosophy and theology, and taking aggressive positions on shorts and options.
