About

Hi everyone, I'm so excited to be hosting this bootcamp! In my last dSAT I scored a 780 on R&W, but I was only able to achieve it because of everything I learned from my teachers. My goal is to share all this knowledge with you and to ensure that by the end of this bootcamp you have a good foundational understanding of the material, and are equipped with the right strategies. 
International students are highly encouraged to join- I've studied abroad in Spain, Turkey, and China and I have C1-C2 certifications for them. I can answer questions and explain topics in any of the languages above. English was my fourth language so I am very familiar with the struggles of getting accustomed to the language.  

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

Note from Schoolhouse: This series has sessions with required attendance. If you need to miss a required session, submit an absence using the "Submit Excused Absence" button on the series page. Multiple unexcused absences may lead to a suspension of your Schoolhouse account.

About the Tutor

Hi everyone! I'm Mar, a rising high school senior in New York City. My academic interests range from STEM to humanities, but my most knowledgeable area is Science and medicine. I speak English, Turkish, Spanish, and Mandarin fluently, so I am more than happy to translate or explain any content. My favorite hobby is playing the violin, you can always find me in an orchestra!
