About

Update (9/5/2024): New learners are always welcome! We are currently between quarters. It's recommended to join the series between quarters to understand and follow along adequately.

This series is perfect for our narrative writers of all levels, whether aspiring or professional.

Through the power of the Narrative Arc, we'll learn how we can shape stories to give the reader choice. And for what could be the first time ever, we'll have the option to use the second perspective in our writing.

Make sure to come prepared with Google Docs and Google Forms depending on your comfort level!

At the end of our series, we'll share and present our stories with other learners for those who are comfortable, so get ready to try other's games/creations.

Also, times are flexible, so let me know if they don't work for you!

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a freshman student from Virginia. I specialize in essay writing here on Schoolhouse, as well as the development of creative narratives. I'm also introducing new topics in enrichment! My favorite books include mysteries, such as those by Agatha Christie, and dystopia novels like Scythe, Shatter Me, and Divergent. I have a wide taste, so DM me if you need/have book suggestions or need writing help! Beyond reading, I'm a creative writer and I've won a Scholastic Writing Regional Silver Key award in my first year submitting. I also enjoy expressing myself through content creation and blogging. I love participating in school clubs, and I'm a member of Black Student Union, Debate, Key Club, Mock Trial, our literary magazine, and a volunteer club associated with Chick-fil-A!
