About

Hi! My name is Peter, and I'm here to help you with the SAT reading portion! I know many people fill out the reading section based on "gut instinct", and I hope that together we can learn some concrete ways to tackle SAT reading questions. My favorite novella is Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. What's yours?

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hi! I'm a high school junior from Illinois. I believe that there are qualities to pursue in everyone I meet - I signed up in search for ever more self-improvement opportunities. I enjoy learning too much to bother specializing in any area, and I love history, social science, and math. Feel free to ask me questions on any subject area! I've taken/am taking Calc BC, Differential Equations, APUSH, AP Micro, AP CSP, AP Lang, AP Latin, and more! I am on my school's debate team, play the violin, and love tutoring!

Practice and review official full-length SAT® practice tests, including one Bluebook test.

Get personalized support with the most challenging questions and concepts.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

Note from Schoolhouse: This series has sessions with required attendance. If you need to miss a required session, submit an absence using the "Submit Excused Absence" button on the series page. Multiple unexcused absences may lead to a suspension of your Schoolhouse account.
