About

Hi! My name is Noah and I am a senior in high school in Florida. I find things like philosophy, history, and literature fascinating and as a consequence, love to explain texts in depth. My style of teaching is to try to be as articulate and welcoming as possible with the goal to be able to not only do well on the SAT, but cultivate our love for reading. Please join my class if you want to learn more about the SAT Reading section in a fun and engaging way!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

Note from Schoolhouse: This series has sessions with required attendance. If you need to miss a required session, submit an absence using the "Submit Excused Absence" button on the series page. Multiple unexcused absences may lead to a suspension of your Schoolhouse account.

About the Tutor

Hey! I’m Noah and I am currently a high school senior in Central Florida. I elected to be a Schoolhouse tutor because I’ve really enjoyed my experience when I was learning the SAT and I’d love to do my part and give back for the next cycle of test takers. I would say my expertise lies in English, as I am knowledgable in the nuances of psychology, a brush of literature, as well as good stroke of philosophy. I believe I can explain the Reading and Writing portion of the SAT well and I’m excited to help you in your journey to ace this test!!
