Hi, I'm Gabe and I'm looking forward to helping you improve your SAT scores :)

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

Note from Schoolhouse: This series has sessions with required attendance. If you need to miss a required session, submit an absence using the "Submit Excused Absence" button on the series page. Multiple unexcused absences may lead to a suspension of your Schoolhouse account.

*Sorry, I had to reschedule this for a funeral out in Penn - it was originally for 4/20/24, 10:00-11:15.  Hope this time works, I know I generalized it today (4/14/24), but if it doesn't work just take a BlueBook practice test for the two R&W sections, 35 minutes each, believe it's Practice Test 5.  Take that, nothing else really on the powerpoint but I can send it to who(-)ever requests it (who vs. whom anyone?).

You'll have some time to review and reflect on your results from the Bluebook practice exam. Then, we will review questions you'd like to go over and end with group practice of a Focus Skill in the Standard English Conventions Domain.

*Same deal, sorry guys, this is just after I get back to Florida so we should be fine at 4:00, originally this was set for 4/21/24, 12:30-1:45.  Anyone can't make this just message me, I'll send you my powerpoint setup for the day and you can do the group practice on your own if you want.  Also there's a lot of BlueBook test review from Practice Test 5 of Wednesday so if you want to learn I really recommend you check why you may have got any questions (assuming a non-perfect score) incorrect, reasoning before just checking answers.
After this week, we'll be back for a final two good sessions of review :) .

We'll spend time reviewing all of the previous Focus Skills we covered together. To end the session (and the bootcamp!), we'll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice/encouragement.
