About

NOTE FOR NEW LEARNERS:
  • If you are joining late, that is totally okay and we are excited to have you. However, we will not go back and cover old content.
  • If you want to schedule a makeup/review session to go back and cover skills we have already covered, we would be happy to arrange it.
  • Enrollment will be shut again after we complete our first unit of study.

Series Overview
  • This series will cover the content of a typical Honors Algebra II class.
  • By the end of this series, you should have full mastery of Algebra 2, and be fully prepared for higher classes such as AP Pre-Calculus & College Algebra.
  • You will also develop an important 21st century skill - Critical Thinking & Reasoning. This course has assignments that allow you to use your reasoning skills and apply your knowledge.
  • Throughout the course there will be short quizzes & tests to check your progress. There will also be cumulative exams for each unit of study, and a mid-course & end-of-course exam covering all content.

Series Outline & Pacing
  • Unit 1: First Degree Equations & Inequalities (Ch 1-4)
  • Unit 2: Polynomial and Radical Equations & Inequalities (Ch 5-7)
  • Unit 3: Advanced Functions & Relations (Ch 8-10)
  • Unit 4: Discrete Mathematics (Ch 11-12)
  • Unit 5: Trigonometry (Ch 13-14)
