About

Hi, I'm Alexander, and I'm thrilled to teach you the tips and tricks for a better score on the SAT Math sections!

When I was studying for the SAT, I felt strong in math, but I made a lot of silly mistakes and quickly realized some gaps in my knowledge. As time went on, I learned many of the tricks that CollegeBoard uses and ultimately got almost a perfect score on the SAT! In this bootcamp, I hope to share this knowledge with everyone who can attend my bootcamps and enable you to have the results of your dreams.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

I'm a high school student from CT ready to help with math, the SAT, and more! I spent a lot of time figuring out the nitty-gritty of the SAT and aspire to share that knowledge with the world for free. I've also always loved math and believe that anyone can love math as well if only they learn to truly understand it. I am an aspiring mathematics major and can't wait to meet and (hopefully!) help you!

What you'll do

Review core concepts and test-taking strategies, with a peer tutor who excelled on the SAT.

Practice and review official full-length SAT® practice tests, including one Bluebook test.

Get personalized support with the most challenging questions and concepts.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

Message your tutor if you have an extenuating circumstance and must miss a session. If you have two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from the bootcamp series.

We’ll start with an orientation to get to know each other. Then, we’ll take a practice exam (no calculator section). Afterwards, we will review the exam and work through any questions you’d like to go over.
