Each week, a bit of text will be assigned from a book, and we will go over some themes and questions. The book is Confessions of an Economic Hit Man. It is John Perkins’s personal account of how he was recruited into a global system designed to expand U.S. political and economic influence. He describes working as a consultant who traveled to developing countries and created highly optimistic economic forecasts that encouraged those nations to accept massive loans for infrastructure projects. These loans often pushed countries into heavy debt, making them more dependent on the United States and its allies, while benefiting large corporations. A background in economics, global politics, and the Cold War is appreciated, but not necessary to understand the book. Please also note that this book is at a University level in English.

Each week we will cover one of the most fundamental parts of calculus. This will cover about half of Calculus AB or one semester of Calculus. You will need to have advanced knowledge of Algebra 2 and Trigonometry in order to do well in this course

In each session we will pick a topic which is scientific, philosophical & has ethical dilemmas in it. You can debate, discuss & share your perspectives & ideas in this session I promise this can improve your critical thinking & communication skills
