Each week, a bit of text will be assigned from a book, and we will go over some themes and questions. The book is Confessions of an Economic Hit Man. It is John Perkins’s personal account of how he was recruited into a global system designed to expand U.S. political and economic influence. He describes working as a consultant who traveled to developing countries and created highly optimistic economic forecasts that encouraged those nations to accept massive loans for infrastructure projects. These loans often pushed countries into heavy debt, making them more dependent on the United States and its allies, while benefiting large corporations. A background in economics, global politics, and the Cold War is appreciated, but not necessary to understand the book. Please also note that this book is at a University level in English.

Each week we will cover one of the most fundamental parts of calculus. This will cover about half of Calculus AB or one semester of Calculus. You will need to have advanced knowledge of Algebra 2 and Trigonometry in order to do well in this course

In each session we will pick a topic which is scientific, philosophical & has ethical dilemmas in it. You can debate, discuss & share your perspectives & ideas in this session I promise this can improve your critical thinking & communication skills

We will go over how to succeed on the AP Language and Composition's 2nd essay, the Rhetorical Analysis, as well as some tricks for other parts of the AP Lang exam. You will need to be able to access Google Docs, and you should have at least a B1 level of English.

Each day we will go over 1 topic of Unknown World History! (In rotation with my area-based unknown history sessions)

Hi, my name is Isabela, and I'm really excited to help you prepare for the SAT! I've been tutoring for 2 years and will help you with your skills This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.
