About

I am an international student studying Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at Nilai University, Malaysia. I completed my A-levels in the CIE (Cambridge) curriculum. I was also a part-time Assistant Teacher in Chemistry and Maths at my school from where I completed my O-levels, so if I get the opportunity to help some of you with these subjects, I will be more than happy to do so!

Maths module according to Diploma course in my university (but it's easy lah!)

    5th session

{Note: You can take a look at the syllabus in this PDF which is publicly available on the internet (Search "CAD 1801") (Maths module on pg 25): [https://www.caam.gov.my/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/CAD-1801-Aircraft-Maintenance-Licence-CAAM-Part-66.pdf](https://schoolhouse.world/redirect?code=E1NFLiHjtIiSzgUkkuXPf) [](https://schoolhouse.world/redirect?code=E1NFLiHjtIiSzgUkkuXPf)These are the contents of the Aircraft Maintenance modules that I have to study in order to obtain the license.}[](https://schoolhouse.world/redirect?code=E1NFLiHjtIiSzgUkkuXPf)[](https://schoolhouse.world/redirect?code=E1NFLiHjtIiSzgUkkuXPf) [](https://schoolhouse.world/redirect?code=E1NFLiHjtIiSzgUkkuXPf) I know what you are thinking...how can something as easy as pre-algebra be required for something as difficult (and fascinating!) as Aircraft Maintenance? But believe me guys when I tell you this...sometimes even pre-algebra becomes hard when you have to solve questions WITHOUT CALCULATOR! Learn Pre-Algebra from a current student of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (and actually studying the concepts of Pre-Algebra), where I will be using the syllabus followed by the university itself (and obtaining a license in Aircraft Maintenance from EASA [European Union Aviation Safety Agency])...! Even though I cannot display the slides which are used in my class (for obvious reasons), I will be using the notes and the structure of our class and making a separate slides of my own which actually follows the ones in my classroom and also practice questions actually provided to us by the lecturer. Wholehearted thank you, Rakib. I had a great time learning about aviation. Something that I am passionate about now. You answered all my inquisitive questions and never reprimanded me for being curious. It was the happiest moment in my life. I now in love with airplanes, and can't wait to build a replica of my own. Thank you. You are the best.

I loved how you used the white board expensively and ask learners if they are good with what you taught. I think though a little more "if anyone has any questions please speak up" or similar comments could help them feel more confident in asking their questions as oppose to a thumbs up.

Loved how you checked every student's grades and their previous levels in logarithms to get a grasp of how to go forward with your class!

I loved how you tried to set the mood by talking casually to get students to feel comfortable with you. I would recommend having everything pre-planned so you don't have to start with "Actually, you know what" which could give off the feeling of uncertainty. I would also recommend encouraging students to introduce themselves while leaving it up to their discretion because some may not feel comfortable giving out information on themselves. I would also recommend that at time 34:17 when you said "Sorry I just need to come up with an explanation" maybe you could change it to "how could i explain this". They are the same but it gives learners more confidence in you as a tutor.
