About

Hi! I am a high school student from Illinois. I am passionate about learning and would like to share that with others, as well as learn some new things myself here at Schoolhouse. I am very committed and would be willing to help students learn new concepts and improve their skills.

I have completed AP World History and AP Human Geography, so I am happy to tutor these subjects! I can also tutor general biology and chemistry, and math subjects through Algebra 2.

I am studying for the SAT and ACT and am part of the Advanced Placement program at my high school. I plan to go into medicine and enroll in a BS/MD program. I am pursuing some medical extracurriculars, and along with tutoring, I do Kathak dance, play tennis, and play the piano.

Artificial Intelligence Lightning Round Dialogue

    Starts

Welcome to [Dialogues](https://schoolhouse.world/dialogues)! In this session, we will be discussing Artificial Intelligence Lightning Round and using this [discussion guide](https://schoolhouse.world/redirect?code=nN_P6ThsdAzlT6qaqYf69). Here’s some helpful information to help you prepare for your session: 📌 Session introduction: At the start of the session, the event host will provide some introductory remarks about how the session will work and tips for discussion. 🧩 Discussion partner matching: All participants will be matched with a conversation partner to discuss with. If there are uneven numbers, you may have two conversation partners. 🤝 Breakout discussions: After the session introduction, everyone will switch to their breakout discussion. Your discussion will be unmoderated, so you can start when your partner arrives in the new Zoom link. 🗺️ Discussion Guide: You will have a topic-specific discussion guide for the session to help guide conversation. ⏰ Session length: The breakout discussions are scheduled for 45 minutes but you can discuss as long as you want! ✅ Stay on topic: Please make sure to stay on topic. If you and your partner run out of things to discuss, it’s okay to end the discussion early. You will not be returning to the main group when your conversation is over. 🤔 Make the discussion your own: You probably won’t have time to answer all the guide questions so pick and choose! Feel free to also bring in your own questions and ideas outside of the guide. 📝 Survey: A mandatory survey will appear at the end of your session to fill out. This must be filled out for you to get credit for the session in your Dialogues portfolio. 🤸‍♂️ Have fun: There is no preparation needed for this event. These conversations are meant to be casual, in addition to being meaningful. We hope you enjoy it!

You consistently reinforced the learner’s progress with positive, specific feedback. Your tone was warm, welcoming, and patient, which helped create a comfortable, low-pressure environment. The learner clearly felt safe asking questions and expressing uncertainty, which is a strong indicator of an effective learning atmosphere.

Tutor · 22 days ago

You were extremely well-prepared for the session. You had slides, notes, PDFs, and links ready ahead of time, and you moved through concepts with clear structure. Your explanations showed a deep understanding of AP Chemistry and especially when covering more complicated topics like combustion analysis, electron configuration exceptions, and valence rules. Your ability to break down problems step-by-step made the material feel approachable and well-organized.

Tutor · 22 days ago

You were very responsive when the learner showed signs of confusion. You slowed down, re-explained concepts, and reassured them when a problem was poorly written or made to trick a test-taker. You also adjusted the pacing, skipped nonessential topics, and selected practice questions that fit what the learner needed most. These adaptations made the learning experience feel personalized and supportive.

She really goes through everything on each topic really thoroughly and sends her time wisely to target the things that are most important to remember, like for instance the exceptions.
