Slow-paced Algebra I support

This series is not for intermediate/advanced learners and will not replace the full Algebra I course. Rather, it is intended to be a support for those who did not take or have gaps in prerequisites, who are struggling due to some other reasons, or just want to have a better understanding of fundamental ideas. Therefore, you should expect frequent discussion of concepts from Prealgebra or earlier units. You are welcome to join at any moment of the series, but please withdraw if you wish to leave to allow other learners to sign up. Learners are expected to actively participate via chat or microphone and be prepared for a lot of practice. I recommend taking notes or at least having something to write on (because we do solve many problems each session!).

This system takes effort and time, but will save you dozens of hours in high school and college, and will help save your sleep and mental health. We will learn: - where procrastination comes from and how to fight it - how to plan your assignments so that you don't forget about anything and spend MINIMUM time on planning - practical tips that will help you fight distractions and focus on work - effective study and time management techniques - how to make this system a habit, not to burn out, stay motivated, and maintain your physical and emotional health throughout the year (and especially before exams) All you need is a cup of tea and one hour of attention per session! Taking notes is not required, but highly recommended.
